From The Book of Matthew
When it rains it pours. Over the last few weeks we’ve received an incredible number of new opportunities. The combination of attending multiple events and announcing our first hire has produced more than a dozen hot leads and referrals ranging from construction software companies to local professional services businesses, to successful startups, to growing nonprofits.
Apparently everyone is expecting May flowers from these April showers. Of course the timing couldn’t be better. As we wind down a number of current projects, we’re ready to take on more clients. I only wish Lee could start three weeks sooner!
We wrapped up two TV spots for Pro-Motion Notions last week. The videos feature Promo Woman, a comic book style superhero, saving the day with last-minute promotional items. Look for the commercials on ABC 7 starting this week.
Siesta Key Kiwanis Club – Save the Date! Our annual Tropical Nights fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday, June 11th. Proceeds support local youth programs and our 5-year $50,000 commitment to the Cancer Support Center.
Suncoast Technology Forum – Last week’s cloud computing event was a hit. Don’t miss next week’s Techbyte Luncheon on Tuesday, April 19th at Polo Grill featuring Stephen Jaynes from xByte Technologies.
Gulf Coast Builders Exchange – We’re exhibiting this week on Thursday night from 5-8pm at the GCBX Reverse Trade Show located in the Fete Ballroom.
Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance – The golf tournament is sold out, but there’s still time to sponsor a hole or donate an auction item. Let me know if you’d like to get involved. I’m looking forward to this week’s Breakfast of Champions.
Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce – Last week’s Hob Nob was a blast!
American Advertising Federation Suncoast – There’s only two weeks left for our 60 day membership drive. Join now and attend the new member party on Thursday, April 21st at the HuB.
Until next week,
Matthew Anderson, President
