Lazy days are long gone

Here we are at the end of July already. Another summer has flown by with school starting in three short weeks. Remember how long summers seemed when you were a kid? Those lazy days with nothing to do are long gone.

Here at Milestone we’ve never been busier. Heading into summertime I was worried things would slow down like they usually do when families are on vacation, marketing budgets are committed, and it’s generally more difficult to conduct business. However, this summer has been different.

We’re fielding more calls, following more leads, preparing more proposals, and managing more projects than ever before. I wish we could pinpoint the reason for our increase in business, but I suspect it’s a combination of internal and external factors.

We’re nearly three years old now, and we’re getting much better at what we do. We’ve done a great job building awareness for Milestone, and we’re always filling our funnel with new opportunities. And slowly but surely the local economy continues to improve giving business owners the confidence they need to invest in their company.

Calling all Creatives

We only have one networking event to promote this week. The American Advertising Federation Suncoast is kicking off a new year of programs with a Speed Networking event on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 from 5:30-7:30pm at Mattison’s City Grill. Click the image to register.

This event concludes our membership drive and will be a great opportunity for our new members to meet and get to know our existing members. The event is free for members and includes complimentary munchies and a cash bar. Nonmembers can join the fun for $10, or better yet, join AAF-Suncoast for only $90 and save $35 on your annual membership dues.
