Brews & Bytes
From The Book of Matthew
It’s a big month for technology events. We’re exhibiting at a technology trade show in Tampa called the BizTech Innovation Summit. BizTech is a first-year expo and awards event sponsored by the Tampa Bay Business Journal and the Tampa Bay Technology Forum.
In addition to being our first technology-specific trade show, this will also be the first time we’re exhibiting outside the Sarasota-Bradenton market. It’ll be interesting to see how Milestone Marketing Associates stacks up against the competition.
As for our local technology scene, the Suncoast Technology Forum has three great events lined up over the next several weeks:
Tuesday, March 15, 2011 – STF Techbyte Luncheon – 12-1pm
Join STF for lunch at the Polo Grill. This month’s highly sought after speaker is the chair of the Emerging Business and Technology practice group at Gray Robinson in Tampa. You won’t want to miss Brent Britton’s presentation on:
ideas2money – You’ve Got a Good Idea. Now What? – Ten Steps to Entrepreneurial Success
Tuesday, March 29, 2011 – Brews & Bytes – 5-9pm
STF’s first quarterly social event of the year is sure to be a good time. Not only is the Cock & Bull known for their vast selection of beers, but it’s also a great venue for live music. And not only will there be draft beer specials for our exclusive guests, but Milestone Marketing Associates is sponsoring the band: Kettle of Fish.
If you know of anyone who would like to help support this event we are still looking for a $1,000 food sponsor to pay for the “bytes.”
Tuesday, April 5, 2011 – STF Educational Event – 6:30pm
Sponsored by USF Sarasota-Manatee in the Selby Auditorium, mark your calendar for STF’s first quarterly educational event of the year:

Light hors d'oeuvres will be served during the event and drinks will be available at the cash bar. Attendees will have a chance to socialize with other local businesses and the expert panelists in the USF courtyard following the event.
Until next week,
Matthew Anderson, President
