Irons in the Fire
After two months and one week of pursuing every opportunity that comes our way, I am pleased to announce that Milestone Marketing Associates was informed last Friday that we have our first “real” customer.
When I consider that after graduating college it took me nine months of pounding the pavement before getting my first “real” job, I have to believe that the past 14 years of experience really does make a difference.
However, I can’t just chalk this one up to my effort. The real credit has to go to Shary Dye of CMS Solutions in Madison, Wisconsin. Without her support and friendship, not to mention the referral, we would not be looking forward to working with Dan Bertler from Supreme Structures. Thank you, Shary! I am absolutely thrilled, and I can’t wait to see you next month.
Dan Bertler is a general contractor in Madison. After 18 years in business, Supreme Structures recently changed its ownership structure. Dan is eager to step up his marketing efforts to match the same commitment to excellence that he brings to every construction project.
Our involvement with Supreme Structures will begin with a promotional event to kick off the New Year and the new ownership. Similar to our own Grand Opening Celebration, this party will give Supreme Structures an opportunity to make a big splash in their community and set the tone for the next stage of the business.
Between our ongoing internal marketing projects, preparation for our big party on New Year’s Eve, another proposal that went out last week, and now this project that is moving forward, things are definitely heating up. The plan was to get our feet wet this quarter so we can hit the ground running in 2010, and now it looks like we’re well on our way.
Until next week,
Matthew Anderson, President
Milestone Marketing Associates, Inc.
